How to choose the right industrial display touch mode?       There are many kinds of industrial display touch methods, how to choose the most suitable one for you? Today, I will take you to understand the difference between capacitive screen and resistive screen? What are the differences between capacitive screen and resistive screen? 1. Cost: Capacitive screens are more expensive. Capacitive screens from different manufacturers are about 10% to 50% more expensive than resistive screens, while resistive screens are cheaper. 2. Power consumption: Industrial display capacitive screen consumes more power than resistive screen. 3. Visual effect: The visual effect of capacitive screen and resistive screen is very good indoors, but the visual effect is obviously different outdoors, especially under the sunlight. Capacitive screens work better, but resistive screens reflect sunlight because of the extra screen layer, which makes the visual effect worse. 4. Feasibility of multi-touch: The multi-touch of capacitive screen can be realized, depending on the way of implementation and the software used, and it has been realized at present. The multi-touch of the resistive screen cannot be realized.   5. Touch sensitivity: The capacitive screen works by using the current sensing of the human body, so any non-conductive material such as fingernails, gloves, etc. cannot be recognized by the capacitive sensing system under the screen, but the resistive screen works through the pressure sensor. You can use any object to touch, support stylus. 6. Damage resistance: The outermost layer of the capacitive screen is a protective layer of silica glass, which may be broken under severe impact. The outermost layer of the resistive screen is a thin film, which needs to be pressed down for pressure sensing, and the resistive screen supports a stylus, which makes the screen prone to scratches, requiring a protective film and relatively more frequent calibration, but it is more difficult than a capacitive screen break. 7. Cleanliness: Capacitive screens need to be touched with fingers, which is easy to leave stains on the screen, but because the outermost layer is a glass layer, it is easy to clean. The resistive screen supports operations such as stylus and nails, so it is not easy to stain the screen.   8. Accuracy: The capacitive screen can theoretically reach several pixels, but in fact, due to the limitation of the contact area of ​​the finger, it is difficult for us to accurately click the target less than 1cm. Resistive screens, on the other hand, are accurate to at least a single display pixel, which can be seen when using a stylus. Environmental adaptability: The operating temperature of the capacitive screen is between 0°C and 35°C, requiring at least 5% humidity. There is no specific value for the operating temperature of the resistive screen, but it has been confirmed that the resistive screen can work normally at a temperature of -15°C to 45°C, and the resistive screen has no requirements for humidity.
